Feeding Guidelines

If you wish to trial The Honest Kitchen products, we suggest the 4 oz.  pouch or 4 lbs. bag to see how your pet likes this product. If your pet prefers a particular meat based kibble ( i.e., chicken),  you might consider starting with the same meat based product in The Honest Kitchen diet.  If you are transitioning to the Force diet for your pet's food allergies, though experience is varied, it could take 3-4 weeks to notice an improvement. All food transitions should be made gradually, mixing old with new food, depending on your pet's digestive tract.

Preparation Instructions
One cup dehydrated food = 1 lb of fresh food

Each cup of dehydrated food should be re-hydrated with  1  to  1  1/4- 1  1/2  cups of pure, warm, filtered, or tap water, or boiled water that has been allowed to cool.
Add the water to the food and stir well. The product will initially resemble soup. Let stand for 10 minutes minimum, for the ingredients to rehydrate sufficiently. Add your own ingredients if you wish (see "Serving Recommendations" below). Stir again, and serve. Any leftovers should be refrigerated or discarded.
