What is Orbee-Tuff®?
Orbee toys are made of an injection molded "thermo plastic elastimer". The molding process makes them hollow with holes at the ends and gives them a 1/2 inch thick membrane-like surface. The Orbee compound is specially formulated for canine teeth, is FDA approved and creates an incredibly, curiously durable and safe material that stands up to sharp teeth and rough play. It's flexible, durable, grippy, bouncy and buoyant, has a peppermint scent and rinses clean. Being hollow, Orbee toys can be stuffed with treats, peanut butter or whatever your dog has a love for. To add an additional option to the mix, all of these toys can be safely chilled or frozen for a cool treat on a hot day! Orbee toys are also non-toxic & recyclable, which makes them great for the environment too!

Explaining the science behind a good chew toy is understanding three things: 1) the mechanics of a dog's jaw; 2) the physics of size & shape; and 3) your dog's chewing habits.
Anything becomes more susceptible when it is able to reach the back of a dog's jaw. That's where they do all their hard-core chewing. But give a dog the appropriately-sized, round, hollow ball made of super-durable Orbee-Tuff® and they can chew for hours - because they cannot get it to the back of their jaws. If you have a very aggressive chewer (chews through tires, deck-posts, and bricks - all of which we have heard) stick with the perfectly round shaped toys.
Be sure to buy appropriately-sized toys for your dog! Not only will this ensure a longer-lasting toy, but it will keep your buddy safe from potential choking. Remember to always supervise your dogs play and immediately remove any toys at the first sign of damage.
